Fairness Matters. Especially if it Defines Your Business.

Oxford Dictionary definition of fairness is: “An impartial and just treatment or behavior without favoritism or discrimination.” To me, it means everyone has the same opportunity to succeed and be treated equally.

This doesn’t mean that everyone gets what they want, it merely suggests that everyone has the same chance of reaching their goal. The individual performance will dictate whether they would succeed or not, if treated fairly.

In the last few years Clarteza has been involved in evaluating the role of dance in … Continue Reading

If you wish to create a more Innovative Culture: Cultivate These Two Elements.

As we grow up, our creative expression tends to diminish and I believe it’s time to reverse the course and make the point to include it permanently in our lives again!

Creative expression is important for problem-solving, inspiration, new perspectives, new ideas, and, yes, even happiness. Doing something that we love, can also put us in the ever-so-elusive state of “flow”!

The issue is that our creative effort is a window that bares our soul, and it might feel risky … Continue Reading

The Power of Change

It has been March of 2020 when our reality was upended. My family’s life – like so many other families – has changed as a result. What has surprised me in this transition, though, are the many things and activities – some of which I have never done before – that have filled my life since then. Some of these newfound pursuits are likely to stick for quite some time. This is a power of change.

For starters, I have entered the world of online … Continue Reading

As we descended for landing, the cabin lights turned purple-pink, and my daughter squealed with delight…

When I travel, I try to stay at #Kimpton Hotels as much as possible. It’s fair to say they’ve won my brand loyalty—but not because their pillows are great or the room service is quick and tasty (though they are). It’s because they take advantage of every opportunity to customize my hotel experience specifically for me.

Kimpton takes a few basic data points about me, such as my preferences and other important dates and milestones, and uses them as opportunities to provide a variety of small surprises and delights to enhance my experience.

For example, during my recent stay with my two … Continue Reading

Why Your Brand Needs Purpose

Being a dancer has always been a passion of mine, but it was little more than an unfulfilled childhood dream until I finally decided to take up ballroom dancing – as an amateur – almost two years ago.

Now, when it comes to my professional career, I generally understand what’s required of me and what I’m capable of; I’m aware of the steps I must take to get things done and the skills I must master to ensure success.

Ballroom dancing on the other hand, has been a whole new challenge. It’s always exciting … Continue Reading

Clarteza: Behind the scenes.

I love Marcel Proust’s quote: “The Voyage of Discovery Consists not in Seeking New Landscapes but in Having New Eyes”. It describes the way we look at business issues.

What we do:

Our team focuses on finding innovative solutions to meet clients’ marketing and business needs. In our work we apply design thinking and we recognize that creativity is a collaborative skill. We function as a think tank of highly specialized experts to evaluate the business issue and create custom tailored solutions. Our lenses allow us to see issues from variety of different angles and, as such, we can better “connect the … Continue Reading

Kids in The Kitchen – Inspiring Healthy Student Bodies: Clarteza’s Community Involvement

My Clarteza team always strives to make a difference. We look for opportunities to contribute. We care about communities where we live in. All of our team members volunteer at our children’s schools, non-profit organizations, soup kitchens and more. We are passionate about our causes.

One event I’m particularly proud of, is the event that I helped to spearhead and organize with Whole Foods and Chef Gale Gand. The idea started, when I observed that lot of kids are not eating very healthy meals. They are either asking for processed meals or sugar filled items.

Personally, I am a believer that “You are what … Continue Reading
